My short journey to becoming a flower farmer in my early 60s was precipitated by the loss of my beloved dog Liberty, in 2020, at age 20. The more I grieved, the more I grew and the more I healed…
These past few years, I have found myself immersed in flower farming courses to achieve my goal of mastering flower farming by the age of 70! It’s never too late to follow your passions. I will continue to build bouquets for loved ones and surprise friends or strangers with a vase of flowers – just because…
I have always loved gardening, but I came to appreciate it even more after losing my Liberty in 2020, followed by Justice in 2022. By the summer of 2023, I was fortunate enough to be asked by Audrey and Sam of The Nitro Bar Cafés and Brooke of Mend Yoga to provide weekly flower arrangements at all of their locations. What a difference the 2024 season was with the addition of my two dachshund puppies, Dahila and Zinnia, and to say those months were a blur is an understatement!
I am grateful to all those who have encouraged, dug in and supported me these past four years and I am looking forward to this new season, 2025. Believe it or not, I have expanded again!
